Purpose of job

  • This position is under Grundfos LIFELINK (GLL) which aim to develop, sell and offer services for automatic water systems, primarily aimed at rural areas.   
  • Identify, establish (contracts), manage, support and evaluate on a competent network of Sales & Service Partners (SSP) in Thailand
  • Jointly develop together with the above SSPs strategic business plans (our framework), which supports the successful growth of the LIFELINK business. Follow up on growth and sales targets. 
  • Participate (supportive role) on a need basis in the negotiations with potential business model partners within the territory.

Key Activities

  • Conduct market studies together with SSPs.
  • Initiate baseline studies and post installation impact assessments for communities.
  • Assist GLL in conducting relevant test of technology, business and partnership models within the territory on a need basis.
  • Create funding opportunities for the above network of SSPs together with the GLL Funding & Partnership Manager.
  • Support the SSPs when it comes to marketing material, training, promotional campaigns, open houses, trade fairs, VIP visits to Denmark and general branding of the LIFELINK activity.
  • General advocacy of the LIFELINK business concept to various stakeholders i.e. World Bank, Regional Development Banks, various government agencies, NGOs, social enterprises.

                 

Critical knowledge and experience

  • Bachelor of Engineering (Chemical/Mechanical/Environmental)
  • Fluent in Thai and English (Spoken and written)
  • Minimum5 years of experience from working with project/solution sales in water supply with some experience in water treatment.
  • Experience in Managing and supporting a network of distributors, agents,
  • Experience in technical sales
  • Being able to conduct/manage marketing research activities.
  • Successful record in Government advocacy and sales

Preferred education

Bachelor’s Degree, Associate’s Degree or equivalent work experience
