Grundfos(Thailand) Building, located in Bangkok, was constructed 7 years ago, comprising of a single office and warehouse area in total of 52,868.33 sq.ft (4,911.63 sq.m.)The company owns the land and is the sole operator of the building. In order to increase a number of staff and departments we have recognized the needs to fitting the 3 rd floor of the office building out so as to attain the functional requirements. This pursuit will response to the business growth and our positive sales performance.Grundfos (Thailand) Limited wishes to utilize the project to demonstrate the organization’s commitment in sustainable development and has decided to comply with an internationally accepted green building rating system as a tool.
SUSTAINABLE SITES (SS)
The Sustainable Sites credit section addresses the relationship between the base buildings of the interior project space to the surroundings.
It examines the way the site is selected, how the builting exterior is designed, how the debris and runoff is contained during construction, all the way through to how the building users travel to and from the project site.Grundfos Office Interior addresses Sustainable Sites through the following features:
WATER EFFICIENCY (WE)
Efficiency credit section addresses how water is used throughout the project.It examines how much water is consumed by the building occupants,how wastewater is treated, and how much water is being used to irrigate vegetated space.
ENERGY AND ATMOSPHERE (EA)
and Atmosphere credit section addresses the issues of energy consumption and emission from the project’s HVAC system. It examines how the project space is designed to optimize energy consumption from HVAC, lighting, and other related
MATERIAL AND RESOURCES (MR)
and Resources credit section addresses the sustainability of construction materials of the project space. It examines issues such as where and how the material is produced and transported, along with how the project disposes of its construction wastes.
INDOOR ENVIRONMENTAL QUALITY (IEQ)
Environmental Quality credit section addresses the quality of the interior space in which the occupants have to spend time in. This comprises of air quality, lighting, thermal, and the amount of control the occupants have over their work environment.
